Goal: Design BSF Adaptor and shaft connection assembly that is sealed oil tight.

Factors: The customer needed to get the pump mounting flange 30” deep into the tank.

How did we do it?
Designed a 3-piece vertical mount style “A” Adaptor and shaft connection assembly. Due to machining limitations, 3 adaptors were needed in order to reach 30” total length. A standard style flexible jaw coupling, straight keyed shaft, and custom rigid coupling. Sealed plugs and o-rings are used to seal fluid out of the inside of the Adaptors.
