Project Details:

Designed to measure torque and test hydraulic motors connected together.

Goal: Design an assembly to connect hydraulic motors together using a torque sensor.

Factors: One Adaptor flange is mounted to a base while the other end flange and second Adaptor are supported but not secured. The use of mounting plates for the hydraulic motors allows for interchangeability between different motors. Shaft extensions allow for use of larger coupling size to handle more torque. A torque sensor is connected with mounting plates that allow for different size sensors to be used.

How we did it: Using two adaptors with mounting plates and foot mount supports. The use of track rollers on both ends supports the weight without affecting the torque measurement.
