Project Details:

Goal: Design a pump-motor group in very tight confines. Design within the smallest footprint possible, and utilize vertical space for the storage tank.

Factors: The footprint of this application was tightly restricted, however there was a large amount of vertical space. There was barely enough room to horizontally mount the pump and motor, but there was room for the tank above. We needed to provide support for that tank.

How we did it: We made a dual base design, allowing the lower bolt-on-base to support the pump and motor, and the upper base to support the tank. This allowed us to keep the tank footprint just over the pump and motor.
