VERTICAL MOUNT ADAPTORS

BSF Vertical Mount Adaptors are available in the two styles illustrated. The Vertical Mount Adaptors are becoming increasingly popular with power unit builders because of the one piece construction. IEC, Metric or NEMA C-Face Motors may be used in both Style A and Style D.

Style A shows a typical vertical mount arrangement where the adaptor and pump are inside the oil reservoir.

With Style D the adaptor is mounted above the oil reservoir. Again, the pump is installed inside the reservoir. This design permits easy access to the coupling and motor mounting bolts. It also has the advantage of allowing the motor and coupling to be removed without disturbing the pump installation.
